My hair

Hey guys I have a bit of a problem with my hair. I'm 13, male and I live in a VERY conservative area. My hair is just plain brown and about shoulder length at the moment and that already causes a lot of problems. I don't really care what other people think of me but this is for my own personal safety because people have already tried to beat me up because of my current hairstyle. My question is does anyone have any suggestions for a new hairstyle for me? because I am very bored with my current one. Preferably I would like a hairstyle that is still long but not too crazy and preferably slightly cybergoth or industrial (while I do love crazy cybergoth hairstyles for my own safety I couldn't have some of them.)
P.S my hair is wavy
